Dr. Aylin Ozdemir, FAAP, ABIHM
is president and owner of Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville – a multi-discipline integrative pediatric practice in the First Coast of Florida.
Dr. Ozdemir attended University of Istanbul Medical School. Following the completion of medical school, she completed her internship in the U.K. with world-renowned experts in medicine at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children. She next completed residency training in New York, NY at Long Island College Hospital affiliated with the State University of New York and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a degree in Integrative Nutrition from the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, as well as degrees for “Art of Healing,” “Essential Oils,” “Basics of Botanicals”, “Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine” and “Integrative Cancer Prevention,” “Integrative Cardiovascular Disease Prevention,” “Healing Environments Course” and more.
Dr. Ozdemir is the first Turkish physician to complete a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, conducted by world known physician, Dr. Andrew Weil. She is also the first pediatrician from the state of Florida trained under the same program.
Dr. Ozdemir is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and board certified by the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine. She is multi-lingual, and has a special interest in childhood behavioral problems, academic difficulties, ADHD, allergies, asthma, and genetics.

Brooke Holway, ARNP
Brooke Holway, ARNP joined Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville in March of 2008. She completed her undergraduate studies in nursing at the University of Florida in 2007. Continuing her education at the University of Florida, she then earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in pediatrics, in 2008. While working on her master’s degree she also worked as an RN at Shands Rehab Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. As well as having her nursing degrees, Brooke has a previous undergraduate degree in Animal Industry, specializing in equine. Brooke has recently become a mother herself and spends all of her free time giving hugs and kisses to her little boy Blake. She has enjoyed embarking on the journey of integrative medicine with Dr. Ozdemir and has a special interest in healing through essential oils. Go Gators!
Rebecca Looney, APRN, MSN, CPNP-PC
Becca joined Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville in June 2014. Becca earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University specializing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. Becca has been a registered nurse since 2006, and Advanced Practice nurse since 2012. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Iota Chapter. Becca is new to Jacksonville, and spends her limited free time with her husband and her two and
a half year old daughter. They enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and exploring the River City. Becca’s passion is to eliminate childhood obesity by getting children living a healthier lifestyle.
Annelie McCrorie Welch, LCSW, BCB
Annelie McCrorie Welch, LCSW, BCB is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Biofeedback Therapist who has been providing counseling, biofeedback, assessment, as well as other diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families and groups since 1985. She is also certified by the Florida Department of Children and Families to provide the children’s functional rating scale, the child assessment of needs and strengths, comprehensive behavioral health assessments, and infant mental health. She has provided therapeutic assessment and intervention to infants, children, teens, adults and seniors for over 28 years.

Jamie Wood, ARNP
Jamie Wood, ARNP joined Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville in April of 2014. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Technology at The Ohio State University in 2009, with a minor in Health Sciences. Continuing her education at OSU, she then went on to earn her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing in 2012, specializing in pediatric primary care. Jamie is board certificated by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. While working on her graduate degree she also worked on the post-partum unit at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio caring for new mothers and their newborns. Jamie is originally from Ohio, and through her husband’s service in the United States Navy they have been stationed in Pensacola, FL, and now Jacksonville where they have lived since 2012. She has one son and will be welcoming a daughter in March 2014. In her free time Jamie enjoys cooking, outdoor activities and traveling.
